Computer game is a form of computer software, run on a personal computer or games machine and played by one or more people using a keyboard, mouse, control pad, or joystick. Computer games usually combine sound and graphics and range from traditional games such as chess to fast-moving action games or complex puzzles. But on my own definition, I defined it as where teenagers spent their daily allowances to. On our generation nowadays, a lot are addicted to such online games like DOTA, KOS, Counter strike, Crazykart, and many more. Once you’ve started to play one of these, I’m sure you’ll never get tired of it. One certain online game which I was very addicted to was O2jam. O2jam is an online casual rhythm video game developed in South Korea by O2Media. Playing the game is divided between finding a room to play in, selecting a song, and playing a song. There are music-halls, technically servers, on which a user can play in. There are many versions in different countries. In our version, there are six servers, all of which are free-to-play. After choosing a server on which to play, the player (commonly called an O2Jammer in the O2Jam community) is presented with a list of "channels", each with a max limit of 100 users. Upon selecting a channel, the player is presented with a list of rooms. The player may choose a single, VS, album, couple, or jam room to play manually or can create its own choice of room. The player can select one song to play over 560 songs available to the version. Upon playing the song, horizontal bars slide down a series of seven columns, each corresponding to a key on the keyboard. The default keys on the keyboard are S, D, F, Space, J, K and L. But the player can change the control settings to which they can play comfortably. Just before the notes hit the bottom of the column, the player has to hit the key corresponding to that column.
